The lodge is situated in the Kaokoland, the only place in the world where the elephants, black rhinos, giraffes and lions live in a desert area. Often described as one of the last truly wild areas in the North West of Namibia it features beautiful mountain landscapes and rugged tranquility. The lodge, in the Perros Conservancy area, is a no risk malaria destination and can be reached by 4×4 vehicles or a 2h 15min flight from Windhoek will take you to our sand landing strip which is located approximately 5 minutes far from the lodge. We share this region with both the Himba people who are one of the last true nomadic tribes in Africa and the Herero, proud cattle farmers and their women wearing traditional dress and a horn shaped hat representing the horn of cow.
